Over the 5 year history, copper prices have been on a roller coaster ride. Back in November 2004, the copper price was around $1.40/lb, then increased dramatically over the next year and a half to almost $4/lb. Then the opposite happened in June 2008. The copper price was at an ALL TIME HIGH of around $4.10/lb, then over the next 6 months bottomed at around $1.30/lb. Thanks to kitco.com for all the charts.
